The Reading Lodge account and data deletion

Users can request deletion of their The Reading Lodge account and associated data by emailing:

Please include the email address used for your The Reading Lodge account and write “Account deletion request” in the subject line.

When an account deletion request is received, we will delete or de-identify the account and associated personal information, including profile information and reading data linked to the account, unless we are required to keep certain information for legal, security or record-keeping reasons.

 

Users may also request deletion of some data without deleting their whole account. For example, a parent or teacher may request deletion of a reader profile, reading log or other information associated with their account.

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.
